The Argo was designed for comfort, community, and convenience, including:

We’re in the Howe neighborhood of South Minneapolis, part of the Greater Longfellow community. The Argo is just a short bike ride or walk to Minnehaha Falls, the Mississippi River, and the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway. It’s a walkable, bikeable, transit-oriented area surrounded by old-growth trees and historic residential charm.
Yes! You’ll be steps away from local favorites like Wildflyer Coffee, The Howe and Fireroast Cafe, neighborhood breweries, and small restaurants. Plus, a street-front coffee shop is planned for The Argo’s first floor.
Named after the beloved dog of our original triplex owner, Drew, The Argo is also a nod to the mythical ship from Greek legend — symbolizing adventure, resilience, and community.
Yes! We welcome both cats and dogs without any breed or weight restrictions. With a fenced dog run and pet wash station, life at The Argo is easy for both you and your furry friends.
Pet fee: $350 fee/1 pet, $500/2 pets
Pet rent: $50/month per pet

Abundant on-street parking is available surrounding the building on both sides of Minnehaha, 36th Street, and 32nd Avenue, plus bike storage is a key feature with 1.5 spots per resident.
At The Argo, we keep things simple with a predictable monthly cost that includes rent and utilities. Here is a breakdown of the additional fees you can expect:
One-Time Fees
- Application Fee: $55 per adult, due at the time of application
- Admin Fee: $150 per apartment, due at move-in
- Security Deposit: $500 (studios & 1-bedrooms), $1000 (2-bedrooms), due upon approval
Monthly Fees
- Community Fee: $150 (studios), $175 (1-bedrooms), $200 (2-bedrooms)
Covers bike storage & repair station, maintenance, smart technology, access control, snow removal, common area upkeep, composting/recycling efforts, and sustainability initiatives
Other Fees
- Internet: $50/month (optional)
Fiber-internet through USI at 500 mbps - Pet Fee: $350 for 1 pet, $500 for 2 pets
- Pet Rent: $50/month per pet
